Andy is a very, very special boy that needs a special home to love him and spoil him rotten. Andy is a true Inspiration!! Sweet and loving Andy! Andy is a VERY SPECIAL boy. We rescued Andy from a kill shelter in Chicago. Andy was in very sad shape. Poor, poor Andy was covered in bite wounds and maggots. Andy's one ear was so severely necrotic, it literately fell off leaving Andy's open ear canal exposed. His other ear was also covered in sores. Andy was severely malnourished and underweight. If all this isn't bad enough Andy could not stand or walk and refused to eat. Andy has gained weight, and is stronger everyday. Andy is able to stand up much easier and can now walk although he is still a bit unsteady.. The vet said that it looks like Andy's back and left front elbow had been broken. Through all of the neglect, abuse and pain Andy has endured in his life, he remains a very loving pup. He gets so excited when someone sits next to him and gives him some loving. He loves to lay is head on your lap. If you're in the area, give us a call to stop in and meet Andy.
